Waiting for Anya, is a film adaptation of the book by War Horse author Michael Morpurgo. Movie is about a village enduring Nazi occupation, and threat of extreme violence underlies every act.
While I had never read the book or even heard of it, the premise sounded intriguing enough that I wanted to. Waiting for Anya is not terrible by any means, but no one will blame you for not sticking through the entire movie to see if she returns or not. Check here for new reviews, friend me on.
